The main body of the flash dryer is a cylindrical drying chamber, which consists of a bottom breaking (crushing) fluidized section, an external drying section and a top classification section. In addition, the flash dryer also includes a heater, a feeder, a stirring and breaking system, a classifier, a drying pipe (main pipe), a cyclone separator, a bag dust collector, a fan and other components.
The wet material enters the flash dryer from the feed port, and the material can be a suspension state or dispersed solid particles. Through the air flow guide, a high-speed vortex effect is generated inside the flash dryer. The airflow quickly disperses and collides the material through the vortex action, thereby increasing the surface area of the material and making it easier to dry. The drying medium (such as hot air, inert gas or nitrogen, etc.) is heated by the heater and then enters the flash dryer. The material and the hot air are in close contact under the action of the vortex, and the hot air precipitates and takes away the moisture from the material, thereby achieving the drying of the material. Under the action of blowing, flotation, twisting, etc., the material undergoes centrifugal, shearing, collision, friction and other processes, is micronized and strengthens heat and mass transfer. The dried material enters the cyclone separator together with the drying medium. The cyclone separator separates the material from the drying medium through centrifugal force. The material is collected at the bottom of the dryer, and the drying medium is discharged through the air lock. The discharged gas contains tiny particulate matter and needs to be treated by a dust collector (such as a bag filter) to make the gas clean and discharged.
