The working principle of a chemical flash dryer involves four main stages: feeding, drying, separation, and collection. First, the wet material is introduced into the dryer through a feed mechanism. Then, hot air is blown into the drying chamber at high velocities using fans or blowers.
As the wet material comes into contact with the hot air stream, heat transfer occurs rapidly. The moisture within the material evaporates almost instantaneously due to the high temperature and low humidity environment created by the hot air stream. This process results in fast and efficient drying.
Once dried, the material undergoes separation through cyclones or filters to separate any remaining fine particles or dust from the dried product. Finally, the dried material is collected for further processing or packaging.
